This week, we spent some time chatting with Vicken Arslanian, the re-founder of American brand, Commodity Fragrances.
Commodity began life as a Kickstarter campaign and were taking off in a big way before the demand outstripped the company’s capability and they folded. Commodity looked like one of those beloved-but-doomed brands, destined for the fragrant scrapheap before Vicken Arslanian stepped forward and bought the company. Just as covid was hitting.
In this podcast interview, Vicken talks about how, and why, he brought the brand back from the dead, what challenges he met along the way, and how the brand has changed his outlook. He even teases a new release and an exciting brand announcement.
